Four Till Four Adventure
Every Saturday in Old Town Scottsdale, there is a car show at a coffee shop called “Four Till Four”. Depends on what saterday of the month it is as it is something different each time. This time it was “Fast Cars”. What that entailed I would not know until I arrived there. Getting up at 5:30 am to make the hour and a half drive from Tucson to Scottsdale is not bad. Had nice views from the sunrise to go with it (after I stopped at Starbucks for some food first though).
Four Till Four in Old Town Scottsdale
With it being January in Arizona it was cold. A piercing cold, taking photos was worth it though in the atmosphere that is this gathering. Its laid back and everyone is looking to just hang out and admire what others have to bring. In particular the main attraction was the Pagani Hyuara BC Roadster. One of only Twenty in the world, and it was parked up right in front of the shop. Made for some good detail photos with the Sony A7III. I had ended up bringing two lenses with me. The Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 and the Sony 100-400 F4.5-5.6 GM (easily the sharpest lens I have).
Its quiet special to see something like this. The car is bathed in carbon fiber, and little details dotted everyone. One of my favorites was the BC on the quad tail pipe, which is made from Titanium. After dotting around the car and taking several photos of it, I needed to get more coffee. The shop is small but is styled very minimalistic, with small queues of garage workshop elements. One of those is the coffee beans they sell, which come in what look to be oil cans. I ended up picking up one their “Sunday Motor Club” ones.
Their coffee they brew is excellent. Ordered a cold brew with some cream (lasted me all day in terms of caffeine). They also have some merchandise as well, made from really good material and feels comfortable. After doing damage to my wallet, and taking whatever photos I wanted to take of the BC. I had decided to pack up and leave. If you are ever in old Scottsdale area, highly recommend checking out this place well worth the stop (even if there is not a show going on).
